The Department of Human and Family Development Studies (DHFDS) continues to uphold its main thrust which is human development and improving the quality of life of Filipino families with the vision to be a national institute dedicated to the advancement of the study and promotion of human and family development across the lifespan in the context of human ecology.
DHFDS aims to provide transdisciplinary instruction, relevant research, and responsive extension initiative to enhance the adaptability and well-being of individuals and families; capacitate higher education institutions, government and non-government organizations, communities, and other stakeholders; and advocate for transformative human and family development policies toward nation-building.
