This correlational study aimed to determine the relationship between the test-taking skills from the different types of tests of 152 Grade Twelve Senior High School Students of Calamba Institute and their academic performance in the First Semester of Academic Year 2021-2022. A researcher made questionnaire was used to determine the application of the test-taking skills from the different types of tests and the problems they encountered before and during the examination. The test-taking skills and the academic performance were correlated using the Spearman Rank Order Analysis. Results showed that test-taking skills from the different types of tests were either somewhat true or very true for the majority of the respondents. Their academic performance ranged between Satisfactory and Excellent. Also, there is a very weak to no correlation between test taking skills from the different types of tests and academic performance of grade twelve students. Lastly, the problems before and during examinations were either often or always experienced by the majority of the respondents. An enhancement program was proposed by the researcher.
