The main objective of the study is to determine whether there is a relationship between socio-demographic factors, parental involvement, and academic performance of elementary students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study utilized a quantitative research design. A complete enumeration was utilized to determine the population of the respondents. The primary data of the study were collected through a researcher-made survey questionnaire. The findings of the study revealed that the majority of parents employed the autonomy-supporting coach as parental involvement approach in their children’s home learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, hence spent 30 minutes to 3 hours of their time assisting and teaching their children. It also revealed that there is a relationship between the socio-demographic profile of parents and the academic performance of elementary students, albeit a weak one. Likewise, although it is very weak, there is a relationship between the level of parental involvement in terms of duration and approach used and the academic performance. Thus, this study suggests that parental involvement in home learning is not the sole factor that contributes to the academic performance of elementary students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
