The COVID-19 pandemic made a significant impact on a global scale as evidenced by the implementation of lockdown regulations, indefinite cessation of business operations, and enforcing stringent healthcare protocols, among others, that consumers were affected the most. This study aimed to explain the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic to the consumer purchasing behavior of selected household heads of Brgy. Tuntungin-Putho, Los Baños Laguna. Data was collected and analyzed descriptively. Results showed that the respondents became more concerned about the price alteration and quality of products, preferred purchasing at the nearest stores, and have experienced stress during the pandemic. Data indicate that limited mobility was the main factor affecting the respondent’s purchasing behavior. The study also revealed that the respondents are aware of their consumer rights and responsibilities. Among the consumer rights that surfaced were the right to choose and right to seek redressal. The responsibilities that were revealed include knowing what to buy and purchasing and spending wisely. Raising awareness was the recommended strategy by the respondents to ensure that consumer rights and responsibilities are asserted and performed.
